Trailer
I think that due to the genre of our film being a Horror/Thriller, that the trailer should be rated a 15, this would therefore allow us to keep the Horror aspects to the film in the trailer, which would attract the typical horror audience to come and watch the film. Due to the fact that out plot is to do with a stalker, this may cause some disturbances to younger audiences. Also, our film plans to contain violence, and so I think a 12 rating would be too young for this.
Film
I think that the actual film should be an 18, this being because the film may contain sexual references, due to the fact that the stalker is sexually in love with the young girl. However, we have chosen to not include this aspect in the trailer, as we wanted the trailer to be a 15, in order to not cause a massive restriction, so that a buzz would still be created around the film. Our film would need to be of a higher rating due to the fact that it is unsuitable for younger audiences to watch.
